Experiences

Living encounters with places and people.

What They Are

Viva Voice Experiences

VIVA VOICE experiences start from the territory and the people. They are not guided tours or tourist itineraries, but encounters where places reveal themselves through stories, legends, memories and small secrets that time has kept.

Each experience interweaves narrative, natural environment and living the place, creating a continuous link between past and present. Knowledge is born from storytelling and shared experience, creating meaning, connection and echo.

How They Are Born

Living Processes

Before any design, we listen to the territory, the people and the context. The script exists as a base structure, but remains open to adaptation. We work with:

  • Locally based storytelling and legends
  • Sensory experiences and attention to place
  • Dialogue, sharing and listening
  • Integration of the natural
  • Historical and contextual research

Secrets of Salt and the Tagus

The Salinas do Samouco are born from the relationship between people and the Tagus, shaped by salt, tides and gestures that spanned generations. Along the route, we visit areas where work marked the territory and a still active salt pan, where traditional salt production methods are used. Between stories, legends and local narratives, the place reveals itself also through the natural environment, from the flamingos that inhabit the salt pans today to the sounds, flavors, textures and landscapes that make the experience deeply sensory. The past meets the present, creating a living encounter that is felt and leaves an echo.

Salt, River and Table

This experience crisscrosses two inseparable dimensions of Alcochete: the salt pans and the table. Between Salt, the Tagus and local gastronomy, we discover how these elements shaped flavors, habits and ways of living that spanned generations. The route integrates a visit to the salt pans and lunch at a typical restaurant in the historic area of Alcochete, where grilled fish takes center stage, accompanied by other options, always linked to local tradition. The experience can take place overlooking the salt pans before or after lunch. In either case, the conversation continues at the table and in the territory, revealing stories and connections that a common meal does not tell and that the salt pans, by themselves, do not explain.

From Tagus to Center: Stories that Shape Portugal

Departing from Alcochete, this experience takes us to the heart of the country to discover places where stories have shaped communities, beliefs and identities over time. More than visiting emblematic points, we propose a day of listening, curiosity and narrative, led by a storyteller who connects past and present. In Fátima, we cross the best-known religious center in Portugal, not to affirm truths, but to reveal curiosities, contexts and stories that coexist beyond the grandeur of the Sanctuary — in an experience that speaks to both religious people and those who are not. In Nazaré, we find a place that for centuries was the main religious center of the country and is today a symbol of transformation. The giant waves, among the largest in the world, coexist with deep traditions, such as the women of the seven skirts, the legends of the historic zone and a community that knew how to reinvent itself without losing identity, always with stunning views over the Atlantic. In Óbidos, we enter a setting that seems suspended in time. A place that shows Portugal before being Portugal, where stories intersect with the charm of the streets, local flavors and an atmosphere that is felt more than explained. A full-day experience where the path, the stories and the people are as important as the places visited.

Seasonal (May-June) Arrábida

The Path of Fireflies

In Arrábida, the night transforms the landscape. Away from artificial lights, the dark becomes the setting for a rare encounter: the glow of fireflies, small points of light that appear and disappear, guiding the way with their silent cadence. This experience invites you to walk slowly, guided by the lights of insects and the starry sky. Between stories, curiosities and moments of contemplation, Arrábida reveals itself in another way — more intimate, more sensory, more magical. A night experience that crosses nature, narrative and silence, creating an encounter difficult to forget.

Alcochete: Stories and Legends

In Alcochete, stories don't just live in books. They live in the streets, on the riverfront, in churches, in gestures and in the voices of those who grew up and live here. This experience invites you to walk through the village based on the stories and legends that the Tagus keeps and that time has accumulated. Between the legacy of D. Manuel I, the streets of the historic center, the Church of São João Baptista, the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Vida, the pier and the viewpoints over the river, narratives, curiosities and local secrets are revealed. An experience under construction, where the past meets the present and where we are listening to the voices of Alcochete to compose a living route, made of stories told, felt and shared.
