Viva Voice runs guided group experiences combining storytelling, place, nature and heritage. Each booking gives you a place on one specific session, on a set date and time.

The approximate duration, meeting point, difficulty, distance, recommended minimum age, languages and group size are stated on each experience page. Experiences take place mostly outdoors.

All prices are shown in euros and include all applicable taxes and charges. The amount shown is the final price per participant. There are no booking fees, payment processing fees or other additional charges.

Prices may vary between sessions of the same experience. The price that applies is always the one displayed at the time of booking.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We accept credit and debit cards, MB WAY, Multibanco, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay, subject to availability of each method.

• MB WAY and Multibanco references are available only to customers with a Portuguese bank account.
• Klarna is subject to availability and to Klarna's approval.
• Card details are entered in a Stripe form and are never stored by Viva Voice.
• When payment starts, your place is held provisionally for 20 minutes. With asynchronous methods such as a Multibanco reference, the place is only definitively confirmed once payment is actually received.

Booking happens in two steps on the website: choosing the date, the number of participants and entering your details, then payment. You can correct any input error by going back at any step before paying.

Before paying you are shown the essential information about your booking and must expressly confirm, via a checkbox, that you accept these Terms and that the booking creates an obligation to pay. The contract is formed when payment is confirmed.

The contract may be concluded in Portuguese or English. We email you a booking confirmation, which is the record of the contract on a durable medium. We also keep that record and you may request a copy at any time.

Bookings for each session close automatically 4 hours before the start time. From that moment the session is no longer available for purchase on the website.

This does not affect your rights if Viva Voice cancels the session, nor your rights if the experience is not delivered as advertised.

The terms for changes and cancellations, whether by you or by Viva Voice, are set out in the Changes and Cancellation Policy at viva-voice.com/cancelamento, which forms part of these Terms.

If Viva Voice cancels a session, you choose between moving your booking to another session or a full refund. Refunds are made within a maximum of 30 days under Article 19 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, and Viva Voice commits to processing them within 5 working days.

• Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the scheduled time. The group leaves on time, with a maximum tolerance of 10 minutes.
• Your place is transferable: you may pass your booking to someone else by emailing us up to 24 hours beforehand.
• Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult holding a paid ticket.
• Each participant is responsible for assessing whether their health and fitness suit the difficulty stated on the experience page.
• Participants must follow the guide's safety instructions. Viva Voice may refuse or remove anyone whose behaviour endangers their own safety or that of the group, with no refund.

Viva Voice is liable for performance of the service under the law, in particular Law no. 24/96 of 31 July. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits consumer rights granted by law, and any clause to that effect is void under Article 29 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014.

As to the website, Viva Voice does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and is not liable for damage arising from temporary unavailability, without prejudice to bookings already confirmed.

You may complain directly to pedro.rosa@viva-voice.com. We reply within a maximum of 15 working days, under Article 5-B(4) of Decree-Law no. 156/2005 of 15 September.

The content of this website, including texts, photographs, videos, brand and visual identity, belongs to Viva Voice or to third parties who authorised its use, and is protected by copyright. Reproduction or commercial use without prior written permission is not allowed.

Viva Voice may change these Terms for the future. The version in force and accepted at the time of purchase always applies to your booking, and its reference appears in your confirmation email.

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Where the customer is a consumer, the competent court is that of their domicile, under Article 74(1) of the Portuguese Civil Procedure Code, without prejudice to the alternative dispute resolution referred to above.
